Business consulting that stays until the numbers move

Most consulting firms hand you a deck and leave. We sit inside your operations, find the friction, and rebuild the process until your P&L shows the difference. Based in Leeds, working across the UK.

How we work

Four weeks from diagnosis to first results

Week 1: The diagnostic

We interview your leadership team, walk your operations floor, and review 12 months of financial data. No questionnaires. No off-site workshops. Just direct observation and hard numbers. By Friday you get a written brief identifying the three largest sources of margin leakage.

Week 2: Priority map

We rank every issue by recovery speed and implementation cost. Some fixes are structural and take quarters. Others, like pricing adjustments or supplier renegotiation, can move within days. You approve the sequence before we touch anything.

Week 3: Build and test

Our team drafts new process documents, reconfigures reporting dashboards, and runs pilot changes in one department or product line. We measure daily and share raw data with your team so nothing feels like a black box.

Week 4: Handover and tracking

Your managers take ownership of the new processes. We install a 90-day tracking scorecard and schedule three follow-up reviews at no extra cost. If a metric slips, we come back and fix it.

What we do

Services built around mid-market problems

Revenue growth strategy

We analyse your pricing architecture, customer acquisition cost, and sales pipeline conversion rates. Then we rebuild the weak links. Typical engagement length: 6 to 10 weeks. Clients in manufacturing and professional services have seen 12 to 18 per cent revenue lifts within a single quarter.

Operational efficiency

Warehouse throughput, back-office staffing ratios, procurement cycles: we measure each one against sector benchmarks and close the gap. A recent logistics client cut fulfilment time by 34 per cent after eight weeks of process redesign.

Leadership and team design

Wrong people in wrong seats costs more than any supply chain error. We map competencies, redesign reporting lines, and coach your senior hires through the first 90 days. This is not HR consulting; it is structural design for decision speed.

Cash flow and financial planning

We build rolling 13-week cash flow models, stress-test them against realistic downside scenarios, and connect them to your accounting system so they update automatically. Owner-managed businesses find this especially useful before growth investments or refinancing.

Market entry and expansion

Thinking about a second location, a new vertical, or an export market? We run feasibility studies grounded in real competitor data and local demand signals, not generic market reports. You get a go/no-go recommendation with a 12-month budget attached.

Based in Leeds

Local knowledge, national reach

Our office sits in the centre of Leeds, five minutes from the train station. That matters because we believe consulting works best face to face, at least in the early weeks. We know West Yorkshire's manufacturing corridors, its fintech cluster, and its professional services ecosystem. When a client needs introductions to local lenders, solicitors, or recruitment firms, we pick up the phone rather than sending a list.

For clients outside Yorkshire, we travel. About 40 per cent of our current engagements are in the Midlands and the South East. The diagnostic week always happens on site, wherever you are.

Common questions

Things clients ask before signing

Most of our clients have annual revenues between £2 million and £50 million. That range is deliberate. Below £2 million, the owner usually needs a fractional finance director more than a consultant. Above £50 million, the internal strategy team can often do the work themselves. The mid-market is where external perspective creates the most value per pound spent.
We quote fixed fees per engagement phase. The diagnostic is priced separately so you can stop after week one if the findings do not justify further work. There are no day rates, no surprise invoices, and no scope-creep surcharges. If we underestimate the effort, that is our problem.
No. We work alongside your accountant, solicitor, and any other professional advisers already in place. Our job is operational and strategic, not compliance. We will coordinate with your accountant on cash flow data and tax implications, but we do not file returns or audit books.
Every engagement includes three follow-up reviews over 90 days at no additional cost. After that, some clients retain us on a quarterly check-in basis. Others call us back a year later for a different project. There is no lock-in contract and no retainer obligation.
Yes. During the diagnostic call we can arrange introductions to two or three past clients in a similar sector. We do not publish testimonials on the website because our clients prefer discretion, but they are happy to speak privately about the engagement and its outcomes.
